SMALL GROUPS “Doing Life Together”

Do you want to get to know other people outside our regular Sunday Services? Do you want to deepen your understanding of the Christian life and what the Bible means when it talks about living in community? Christianity is not a solo hike. Rather, it is a community which walks through the highs and lows of life together.

Small Groups are where these things happen best. They:

  • Deepen our understanding of the Bible
  • Provide a caring, nurturing environment where we pray together
  • Help us live an authentic Christian life
  • Show us what it means to live in community
  • Strengthen our relationship with God
  • Provide avenues for practical Christian service

We have a variety of small groups of 10-20 people at Auckland Bible Church made up of people at different ages and stages. For more information please contact the church office 523 4350 or e-mail

Sometimes you just need someone to listen or give a helping hand. We have a team of compassionate and caring people who can provide help when most needed in a number of areas. As your church family, we want to hear from you and see how we can help. Contact the church office.

“Day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do prosper.” Psalm 1: 2-3

We want to provide real answers to real questions that young people want answered: What do I need to know? How do I think? How do I live? Our programmes are carefully crafted with energy, commitment, relevancy and heaps of fun, as well as a good dose of reality. This is what we dream of providing each and every Sunday morning.

Crèche is available from the beginning to the end of every service. It is located in the back corner, on the left hand side of auditorium and runs for the entire length of the service. It is a great space for newborns and toddlers up to three years of age where there are plenty of toys to play with and short videos from time to time. There are trustworthy carers rostered on to look after the kids if you want to leave them. You are most welcome to stay and hear the sermon in the room, or come and go as you please.

Promise Land is designed for two-and-a-half to five year olds (pre-school age). Kids take first steps in a faith walk as they hear Bible stories read to them, sing songs, and design their latest masterpieces. We follow a curriculum based on the “Beginners Bible” so that stories and lessons can easily be repeated at home. Children are invited to catch the rope ‘train’ in the foyer as announced during the service around 10.15am. They are taken to the church office and returned back to the cafe at 11.30am.

ONE 80 (5 - 10 YEARS)

One-eighty is designed for 5-10 year olds or school years 1-6. Its focus is to answer the question of “what do I need to know?” It is a time of learning what the Scriptures have to say about God, about ourselves and about others. There are opportunities for interaction, listening and activity. The kids are encouraged to grow deeper and reach further by participating, listening, observing and interacting with peer role models as well as looking at inspirational Christian lives.

WIRED (Year 9 +)

Wired is our ministry to Year 9+ young adults. We exist to equip Year 9+ young adults to imitate Jesus.
How do we do this?
By feasting on the Word of God, praying, and fellowshipping with food and fun.
What's the purpose?
To raise up students who encourage each other in their faith and unashamedly proclaim the gospel by speaking and living it, while enjoying the life God has given them.
The end goal: To turn the world upside down by proclaiming Jesus!
